Sunday Already?

It has been a rainy, overcast kind of day. A good excuse to stay inside and "Study". School is occupying all of my time as of late. Well not all of it, per say, but a lot....I am so ready to be finished with school......Not much going on other than school and work. I put a hitch on my truck so I can haul trailers. Yeah, how bout that!....Now all I need is a trailer.....I have been doing a lot of work on the side to make ends meet, and that is going swimmingly....I also have been studying Illustator, Dreamweaver, and Indesign to better my knowledge of web design, or design in general. These programs are very robust, powerful, and complex. I am amazed at what can be accomplished when a skilled designer is "at the keys". I, on the other hand am doing well to draw a strait line, but I am trying...I feel this is one of my most boring blogs in a while. Sorry about that, you three who read it.....There is just not much going on. Nothing but life. We will however be going on a vacation soon, and I am sure I will have something exciting then.....Later

I don't have much to say

I do not have much to contribute this week. It was quite an average week. Spring is upon us, and the yard is receiving more attention. We finished the left side of the house, landscaping that is, and that was about it. I spent all day today in front of a couple of computer screens doing some maintenance and repairs. I have decide that Kapersky is the way to go in terms of internet protection suites. I had a horrible experience with Mcafee this afternoon that prompted the switch. If you are looking for a virus, firewall, and security suite look here. I highly recommend it, forget Norton or Mcafee.......Over and out....and under.

A busy, but productive weekend

I finished a job this weekend that turned out rather nicely. It was a quick job, and the weather could not have been nicer. Speaking of the weather, The temperatures are supposed to dip into the twenties on Monday and Tuesday. This is not a good thing. It is looking a lot like spring and most of the tender perennials have already emerged from the ground. A freeze will surely zap the new growth. Time to get out the blankets and tarps, I suppose....School is in session (we started the week of spring break..?)and it is as fun as ever. I am back to getting home at ten o'clock two nights a week. Wah, wah. The classes are easy, but I am attending full time. I am ready to wrap it up though, so I am hitting it hard. Everything is relatively normal around here, the girls are well, Valerie is O.K., and I am hanging in there...Not much else to say. Bring on the spring, enough of this cold weather already. I have posted the "after " pictures of the afore mentioned job. scroll down if you are interested in the before pictures.

Before

I "inherited" a job that was underway. This is what I saw upon arrival.

Does anybody recognize these two?

I borrowed this old picture and doctored it up a bit on Photoshop....I start back to school tomorrow and I have been super busy, so I have posted some pictures instead of writing a lot. It feels like spring around here and it has been raining. It rained all day on Saturday. Ho-rah. I gotta go....later.
